Alex Cameron and his business partner, saxophonist Roy Molloy, bring their strange “Phone-Noire” pop (as heard on Cameron’s LP, ‘Jump The Shark’) to our city. They come, primarily, to entertain. Yet there is indisputably something jarring about his muse. But then Cameron’s restless personality is key to his music, and a lot hinges on how he presents his “tales of failure and self destruction.”
